However, one teacher has stood out to me as very lazy, unorganized, and hasn't taught me anything, and that's Mrs. Ousley. I'm normally a straight A student, but I don't understand anything in her class. I've maintained a B average throughout the first quarter in her Geometry class, but that's only because I've had my dad explain to me what's going on after each new lesson. Her notes are messy and I have to decipher what she's saying before she takes it off the board...
Landrum is honestly a good school. the dress code is a bit looser, but i wish we could wear tank tops... i mean, who can learn while wearing something they're not comfortable in? but other than that, the staff is really supportive, and the other students are pretty nice.
I loved this school! It was an amazing experience and all the super nice teachers really prepared me for high school with the variety of different extra curriculum classes. Most of the kids were nice and the staff were encouraging and helpful. I would send my kid to this school, knowing that they'd get a good education in a healthy environment. I don't understand why everyone else is lying and being rude. A lot of those comments are lies.
I don't really have a review, I just want to point out that a lot of these reviews overlook the good parts about this school and just focus about the bad parts. The school does have some flaws but these reviews are incredibly exaggerated. Some of these reviews are dated and a lot of things have been changed with the new principal.
The school overall is a great place. It's my first year here and I've had some wonderful teachers, such as Mr. Hogan for US History and Mr. Anzelmo for Science.
This school is total garb. Most teachers are trash, and the Dean is really mean. I guarantee you will get in trouble for something you didn't do at least once every year. In other words, Landrum gets its easiest report in its life.
