My girlfriends family recommended that I go to Vicki Brown at Underwoods when I decided it was time to propose. I live out of state and so I was somewhat nervous about selecting the perfect ring and not being able to see it in person but I am so glad that I did. To say she was knowledgeable is an understatement. From the setting itself to selecting the correct ring size she knew everything and made what I thought was going to be an extremely stressful situation an exciting one. I actually ended up selecting the first ring that she showed me and I will definitely be sending all my friends there and using Vicki for all of my future jewelry needs. She truly is amazing.

I took a few days and thought about this review before writing it. I don't want to upset a store's reputation. I had a fantastic experience during my initial visit. I was dropping off a Rolex for a very minor, non-mechanical repair - something I've had done by another licensed shop in DC. The gentleman I spoke with was incredibly polite, knowledgable, and helpful. I felt like I was leaving my watch in great hands. Immediately after, I began receiving marketing emails from the shop. I don't remember signing up for that but fine, I can handle that through a simple unsubscribe link; no worries. Two weeks later, I dropped by (was in the area after a meeting) because I hadn't heard anything about my watch. Come to find out, repair was not done. I'm happy with my experience with the staff but incredibly unhappy that my need wasn't met, and I don't feel I was asking too much. To add to my frustration, I received another marketing email from the shop that very same day. Very disappointing.
Scott Granger and Underwood Jewelers in Ponte Vedra went above and beyond for me. I brought in some necklaces that were incredibly sentimental but not expensive. They were tangled and Scott spend his day untangling. He not only showed dedication but he showed real heart. You don't get that in most places. Thank you, Scott. I'm a huge fan!
It is not often that one can say that they feel their jeweler is their friend, but I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Scott Granger at this location. My wife and I met him years ago searching for my wedding band at a different location. Despite our low price point at the time, we were treated with the same respect and dignity as if we were purchasing a Rolex. Scott has an appreciation and understanding for people and their needs, not his own needs. Since that first time, we have relied on him for advice and counsel (even when he may not have that for which we are searching). Scott has true integrity; one thing that is very hard to find in any business. For these reasons, we will always travel farther than necessary to see him when making a purchase.
